We believe making things to eat that are as delicious as they could possibly be.
We make our food by hand and we stick to using simple, tried and tested methods, using ingredients like free range eggs and locally produced butter because ultimately, we think they taste nicer than hydrogonated palm oils and high fructose corn syrup. We'd rather produce one hundred really really lovely cakes than thousands which don't quite hit the spot.
Lots of people are increasingly finding that, for whatever reason, they are becoming intolerant to certain foods, such as wheat, yeast or sugar. We think that everyone should be able to enjoy something delicious so whatever you're trying to cut out there'll be a slice of something you can enjoy.
We couldn't do this without marvellous local suppliers including Manor Farm Dairy, Steven's Veg, Stoates Cann Mill, Longmans Dairy and Vurland's Farm Free Range Eggs whose from hens who enjoy a enviable view of the Jurassic coast.
These lovely ingredients are carefully, slowly and skillfully put to use by our team of traditionally trained bakers and in-house cake makers. The result is small batches of breads, cakes and savouries that are delicious in every way.
